Sunday Game at Florence Postponed

Florence, KY - The Southern Illinois Miners announce that their game at Florence on Sunday, May 26 has been postponed. The Miners and Freedom will make the game up as part of a doubleheader on Tuesday, July 2, at 5:35 p.m. Eastern Time at UC Health Stadium.
The Miners return home after the Memorial Day holiday to open up a six-game homestand on Tuesday, May 28 at 6:35 p.m. against the River City Rascals. Chase Cunningham is scheduled to start in the opening game against the Rascals, opposed by left-hander Alex Winkelman at Rent One Park.
The Southern Illinois Miners are the Frontier League's most-successful franchise since debuting in 2007, winning the 2012 Frontier League Championship as well as division titles in 2010, 2014, 2015 and 2016. They have been awarded the Frontier League Organization of the Year award three times since their inception, and also set a new Frontier League attendance record in their inaugural season.
