Dallas, TX - The Connecticut Sun (7-23) fell to the Dallas Wings (19-11), 83-63, Sunday at College Park Center.

Diamond Miller paced the Sun with 22 points, knocking down 4-of-8 attempts from three-point range to tie her career high. Kennedy Burke added 14 points and seven rebounds, while Olivia Nelson-Ododa chipped in with eight points and 11 boards.

Olivia Nelson-Ododa opened the action by securing an offensive rebound and kicking it out to Diamond Miller, who knocked down a three-pointer for the game's first points. Nelson-Ododa then attacked the rim on Connecticut's next possession to get on the scoreboard herself before Jessica Shepard answered with Dallas' first points of the night. Azzi Fudd followed with a shot from beyond the arc, while Arike Ogunbowale responded with a basket of her own. Kennedy Burke connected from three-point range, and Miller and Shepard traded buckets as the two teams settled in. Burke added another score to give the Sun a one-point advantage midway through the opening quarter. Alanna Smith buried a three to put Dallas back in front, but Nelson-Ododa countered with a basket in the paint to even the score. Paige Bueckers got on the board with a mid-range jumper as the Wings ramped up their defensive intensity, recording two blocks and a steal in a 40-second span. Bueckers added two more baskets, while Raegan Beers scored her first points of the game. Odyssey Sims converted at the free-throw line late in the quarter to close out the first period.

Ogunbowale opened the second quarter with a basket, Nelson-Ododa answered to keep Connecticut within six points. Aziaha James and Nell Angloma exchanged scores before James connected again on Dallas' next trip down the floor. Saniya Rivers added a free throw for her first point of the game, and Miller capitalized on a steal from Sug Sutton with a fast-break layup. Miller then knocked down a pull-up jumper to trim the deficit to three, but Ogunbowale responded with a three-pointer to push the Wings' lead back out. Leila Lacan scored her first points of the evening with an 18-foot jumper, while Shepard attacked the basket for another Dallas score. Connecticut answered when Burke was sent to the line, where she converted both free throws. Ogunbowale helped Dallas extend its advantage with a mid-range jumper down the stretch. Miller and Sims traded buckets before Shepard attacked the paint for another score, pushing the Wings' lead to nine points. Over the final 90 seconds of the half, the teams combined for five field goals in a back-and-forth offensive burst. Maddy Siegrist converted a two-pointer for Dallas, while Miller, Lacan and Fudd, who knocked down two triples, connected from beyond the arc. The late exchange sent the Wings into the locker room with an 11-point lead at halftime.

Ogunbowale opened the second half with a put-back basket from four feet out. Nelson-Ododa scored Connecticut's first points of the quarter at the free-throw line, but Shepard answered with a strong finish at the rim. Burke connected from beyond the arc, and Lacan added a basket inside to briefly trim Dallas' double-digit lead. Fudd responded with a three-pointer to halt Connecticut's momentum, and Shepard followed with a three-point play before Ogunbowale added another basket to cap a 8-0 run. Burke answered with a drive to the basket, but Awak Kuier got on the scoreboard with her first points of the game. Ogunbowale continued to fuel the Dallas offense, scoring again before converting a pair of free throws to extend the Wings' advantage to 21 points. Kuier added another basket, and James closed the quarter with two free throws, sending Dallas into the fourth quarter with a commanding 27-point lead.

Nelson-Ododa opened the fourth-quarter scoring with a free throw, but Sims answered with a pull-up jumper for the Wings. Miller added more points from the line for the Sun before Li Yueru scored in the paint and then connected from beyond the arc to help extend the Wings' lead. Miller grabbed her third three of the night, and Burke converted a defensive stop into a fastbreak basket on the other end. Miller knocked down her fourth triple, matching her career high from long rage. Siegrist answered for Dallas with a drive to the basket, Gianna Kneepkens contributed a shot from downtown and added a free throw. Angloma closed out the scoring with a 24-foot three-pointer, accounting for the final points of the contest.

Connecticut finished with nine made three-pointers compared to Dallas' seven, but the Wings held advantages in several other key categories. Dallas outrebounded the Sun 38-31, recorded a 22-14 edge in assists, and collected four more steals. The Wings also dominated inside, outscoring Connecticut 46-24 in the paint and holding a 32-12 advantage in bench points.

Diamond Miller was hot from three, tying a career-high of four 3PM.
