
Summerside Storm Wins in First Meeting with Oshawa Power

(Oshawa, Ontario) The Summerside Storm had a big win in their ï¬Ârst meeting with The Oshawa
Power at General Motors Centre, Friday night, the ï¬Ânal score being 119-97.
The Storm took an early lead scoring seven points to the Power's one within the ï¬Ârst four minutes.
They ended the ï¬Ârst quarter in the lead 30-16. In the second, The Power came out with an
aggressive offence, but Chris Cayole's three point shooting kept the Storm in the game. #3 Eric
Gilchrese made an amazing four point play to end the second 60-47 for The Storm. The Storm held
strong in the third; Oshawa came within eleven points in the forth but could not hold out for the win.
The Storm were led in scoring by Chris Cayole, (also with six three pointers) and Eric Gilchrese both
with 26 points. Brandon Robinson led The Power with 19 points.
The Summerside Storm play next, at home at Credit Union Place, on December 1st at 7pm ADT.
