(LONDON, ON) The Oshawa Power fall 119-97 to the Summerside Storm in their first

meeting this season at the General Motors Centre in Oshawa.

The Power got off to a slow start and were never able to recover as they now fall to 3-5

on the early season.

The Storm jumped out to a 30-16 led in the first quarter, and followed up with a strong

37-23 third quarter leading to Oshawa's demise.

"We were right in the game and then it was mistake after mistake," said Power Head

Coach Mark Strickland. "I look up at the clock and we were in the game, then I look up

and we are out of the game."

Akeem Wright, a bright spot for the Power, had a strong game, consistently getting to the

basket and getting to the line 19 times. Wright finished with 18 points and 12 rebounds.

Brandon Robinson had a team high 19 points and added 5 steals to add to his league high

average.

Summerside shot 52 percent from the field for the game and they got a great contribution

from their bench as the reserves netted 57 points. Eric Gilchrese was a part of the great

bench scoring, tallying 26 points which was a team high.

The Power will have little time think about the loss as they will host the streaking Halifax

Rainmen Sunday afternoon at 2:00 pm. The Storm will then host Saint John Mill Rats on

November 30, 2011.
