Sugar Skulls Sign Three Returning Players for the 2025 Season

Tucson, AZ - The Tucson Sugar Skulls announce the signings of three returning players for the 2025 IFL season: offensive linemen Cody Bollig, and Brandon Nicholson, and defensive lineman D'Jimon Brooks.

Cody Bollig - Offensive Lineman

In his debut season in 2024, Bollig played in seven games and recorded one solo tackle. A steady presence on the offensive line, Bollig began his college career at Whitworth University, where he anchored the Pirates' offense at left tackle. He earned an honorable mention All-Northwest Conference honor in 2021 after becoming a key starter during the shortened 2020 season.

Brandon Nicholson - Offensive Lineman

Last season, Nicholson played in 10 games and recorded 1 solo tackle. He joins the team after a successful college career at Notre Dame College, where he was a four-year starter. Nicholson earned First-Team All-MEC honors three times, demonstrating his ability to provide consistent protection for the Falcons on the offensive line.

D'Jimon Brooks - Defensive Lineman

In the 2024 season, D'jimon Brooks played in 12 games, finishing with 13 solo tackles, 12 assisted tackles, and 2.5 sacks, proving his impact on the Sugar Skulls' defensive line. Brooks played college football at Georgia Tech, he led the defensive tackles with 30 total tackles, including a sack and three tackles for loss.
