Strong Island Sound to host first round playoff game

Patchogue, N.Y.-The Strong Island Sound are proud to announce that on Friday March 10th at 7:30 p.m. at Suffolk Community College in Selden, they will be hosting a first round ABA playoff game. Their opponent is yet to be determined.

The Sound currently have a 15-14 record and have won six straight heading into the regular season finale on Friday March 3rd at 7 pm at Suffolk Community College. Their opponent will be the Florida Pitbulls, who are led by their player/coach Tim Hardaway, the former NBA All-Star.

The Sound are currently ranked 13th in the ABA Power Rankings. They have gone 12-5 after a slow 3-9 start in November. They are the hottest team in the ABA heading into the post season.
