Please note the following statement from Fort Lauderdale Strikers CEO Sean Guerin regarding the potential for tropical storms in South Florida and this Saturday's 7:30 p.m. match versus Indy Eleven at Lockhart Stadium:
The Strikers have received inquiries regarding Saturday's match. As it stands now, we plan on playing as scheduled tomorrow evening. Indy Eleven is traveling to South Florida today.
Fan safety is our number one concern and any decisions regarding the game will be based on what's best for spectators and participants.
We encourage fans to check Strikers.com, where we've set up a special tab to update Striker Likers on any developments related to the weather and the match. Updates will also be available via the team Twitter and Facebook pages.
