Strikers Forge Partnership with Azul Airlines

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (May 22, 2015) - The Fort Lauderdale Strikers and Azul Brazilian Airlines today announced a partnership that includes the Azul logo and marks being featured on the backs Strikers players' jerseys for all remaining 2015 matches. Strikers Managing Partner Ricardo Geromel, a Brazilian native, made the announcement.
The agreement also calls for on-site activation by the heralded air carrier at Strikers games and throughout the South Florida community.
"We are pleased to welcome Azul to the Strikers family as a partner," said Geromel. "Azul has a sterling reputation as a service-friendly airline that delivers value to its customers. We are eager to team up with Azul on exciting promotions."
Azul currently offers a daily flight to Fort Lauderdale - Hollywood International Airport from Brazil. Starting in June, there will be an additional flight running three times per week departing from the Viracopos Airport -- the biggest hub in Brazil that connects more than 60 Brazilian cities to the United States. Azul also offers daily flights to Orlando.
Azul has been recognized four separate times as the "Best Low-Cost Carrier in Latin America," by Skytrax, a leading airline review and ratings service.
