Seattle Storm News Release

This Week's Opponents

Chicago Sky: The Storm will get their first look at the WNBA's newest member this week when Seattle takes on Chicago in what will be each team's second preseason game. The Sky roster includes former Storm players Amanda Lassiter and Stacey Lovelace and is coached by Hall-of-Famer and seven-time NBA All-Star Dave Cowens. Francesca Zara, whom the Sky plucked from Seattle in the WNBA's expansion draft last November, is not expected to report to Chicago this season.

Minnesota Lynx: Seattle and Minnesota split a four-game series last summer with each team notching a victory on the road. The two teams are 5-5 against each other over the last 10 meetings with seven of those contests being decided by six points or fewer. Minnesota holds an 11-9 advantage against Seattle all-time.
