
Storm Waives Dulcy Fankam Mendjiadeu

SEATTLE - The Seattle Storm announced today the team has waived forward/center Dulcy Fankam Mendjiadeu.
Fankam Mendjiadeu was drafted out of the University of South Florida in the second round of the 2023 WNBA draft (No. 21 overall) by the Storm and appeared in 41 games with Seattle over two seasons, including seven games in 2024. She averaged 3.5 points and 4.0 rebounds during her time with the Storm, shooting 52.7% from the field overall with 11 blocks, 13 assists and 13 steals. Last season, Fankam Mendjiadeu recorded back-to-back double-doubles in her first two career starts (July 8 and 11, 2023) and pulled down a career-best 15 rebounds vs Minnesota on Aug. 20, 2023.
