Las Vegas Aces News Release
LAS VEGAS - Las Vegas Aces General Manager Natalie Williams announced today that the Aces have signed 11-year WNBA veteran guard Tiffany Hayes.
"Joining the Aces will be very exciting for me," said Hayes. "I'm just grateful that they are willing to work with me as I am diving head first into a new era in my life. It will be nice to experience the west coast and this organization as I join them on the road to another winning season. I have no doubts that there is something special brewing, and I'm just another great ingredient being added to the mix. Let's go Aces!"
"Tiffany is a fiery competitor with a winner's mentality," said Williams. "A savvy veteran who will be a great addition to our team."
The 2017 All-Star played her first 10 seasons in the league with Atlanta, averaging 13.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists with the Dream. Hayes' best statistical season was in 2018 when she posted a career-high 17.2 points per game, finishing sixth in MVP voting, and third in defensive player of the year balloting en route to an All-WNBA First Team selection.
The UConn grad was just as impressive in the postseason with Atlanta, averaging 13.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists while connecting on 36.2 percent of her three-pointers. Hayes helped the Dream to the 2013 WNBA Finals in her second season in the league.
The two-time NCAA Champion signed as a free agent with Connecticut prior to the 2023 season, and started all 40 regular season games for the Sun averaging 12.1 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists.
For her career, Hayes brings averages of 13.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists to the Sports & Entertainment Capital of the World.
