March 8, 2004 - California League (CalL1)
Lake Elsinore Storm News Release

The Lake Elsinore Storm will unveil its new online ticketing service Monday, March 15 to kick off individual game ticket sales for the 2004 baseball season. The user-friendly system, which will allow fans to select their seats anywhere in the stadium for the game of their choice, will be available beginning at 10:00 am March 15 through the Storm's website - www.stormbaseball.com. Tickets for Opening Day April 9th, will also be made available to the general public for the first time with the unveiling of the new online system.

Among its various features, the new service will allow fans to see a seating diagram of The Diamond for each game and select their seats anywhere in the ballpark. Fans will also be able to sample a photographic view of the field from each section of the ballpark before purchasing tickets. Under the team's previous online ticket system, fans were able to indicate their preference for particular sections of the ballpark but could not request specific seats.

"This new system will give our fans the ultimate flexibility when it comes to purchasing their tickets," said Storm Director of Ticket Operations Corrine Roberge. "They can log on to our website and with a couple of clicks see the entire ballpark and pick exactly where they want to sit. It's definitely a major improvement over our previous online system and we expect that a large number of fans who have been reluctant to order online will now do so given the new features."

Ticket prices for the 2004 season start at $7.00 for reserved seating. Preferred reserved and box seats are $8.00 and preferred box seats are available for $9.00. Group discounts are available for parties of 25 or more.

In addition to online access, tickets will also be available for purchase both over the phone and in person beginning at 10:00 March 15. Due to a high volume of phone calls anticipated, the Storm is encouraging fans to take advantage of online ticketing features when purchasing tickets. Tickets will be available for all 2004 games with the exception of July 3 - those tickets will be made available to the general public June 1.

Vision One, an Internet technology company currently implementing its online ticketing system with several sports teams around the country, will provide the web service for the new ticketing system.

The Storm celebrated its tenth anniversary season with a fourth consecutive playoff berth in 2003. Season tickets, mini-plans and group discounts for the 2004 season are now on sale. For more information, contact the Storm at (909) 245-4487 or visit them online at www.stormbaseball.com.
