
Storm Tickets On Sale As Team Preps For Exhibitions

KEARNEY, NE - Single game tickets are now on sale for the 10th anniversary season of the Tri-City Storm hockey team, which opens the season with a pair of 7 p.m. home exhibition games Friday (Sept. 11) and Sept. 18 against the Omaha Lancers.
Ticket prices, which have been lowered $2 from last season, start at $8 for children age 12 and under. Premier seating is $14 per ticket, standard seating is $12, and tickets for high school and college students, military personnel and senior citizens are $10 with ID. Group party packages, which can include suite rentals, also are available.
Led by first-year head coach Drew Schoneck, the Storm's home openers are against the 2009 Clark Cup Champions - Indiana Ice on Oct. 9 and Oct. 10.
The first 2,000 fans attending the opener will receive a commemorative 10th anniversary puck. The team caps its home opening weekend with a free tailgate party for fans that will include live music and complimentary food and drinks.
Other featured games on the 2009-10 schedule includes Military Appreciate Night on Nov. 11, Boy Scout Day and Stormy's birthday on Dec. 12, New Year's Eve celebration on Dec. 31, High School Band Night on Jan. 29 and Pack It In Purple on Feb. 12.
The Storm hosts Team USA Under-18 squad on Dec. 5. Team USA's U18 and U17 squads are comprised of some of the top American-born players.
