Other home games for the Storm include games against the Kansas City Comets, Cleveland Force, St. Louis Steamers and defending champion Baltimore Blast.

Voice of the Storm: For their upcoming inaugural season, the Storm decided to hire play-by-play announcer KennTomasch, who has nearly 20 years of experience in broadcasting, including prior indoor soccer duty with the Indiana Twisters of the Continental Indoor Soccer League (CISL) from 1996-97. A member of the Chicago Fire's radio and TV broadcast team for the last two MLS seasons, Kenn has also called soccer at three levels of the United Soccer Leagues (USL) system, including the A-League Game of the Week on Fox Sports World. He has also worked as a front office executive for indoor and outdoor soccer teams. His broadcasting resume includes play-by-play of pro hockey in college and high school basketball, high school football, professional tennis, and professional baseball. He also spent time as a television and radio sportscaster in markets from Fort Myers, Florida to Indianapolis, Indiana.

World Travel: Chicago Storm midfielder Andy Guasteferro was officially announced as one of 14 members selected to the U.S Futsal National Team that will play for the FIFA Futsal World Championship 2004 in Chinese Taipei from November 21 to December 5. The Canandaigua, New York native played on the United States Futsal National Team during the qualifying tournament in July 2004 where appeared in seven games and tallied 3 goals. He was also part of 14 players selected to travel to Brazil for training camp in preparation for the Futsal World Championship. Guasteferro made his debut in the Storm's inaugural season opener last Saturday night against the Wave at the UIC Pavilion.

First time for everything: The inaugural season opener for the "Yellow and Black" featured many firsts for the brand new organization, beginning with forward Byron Alvarez recording the first goal in Storm history 3:36 into the first quarter on a pass from defender Gaston Pernia. Pernia went down in the history books for the Storm after he became the first ever player in Storm history to record an assist. Gaston's brother, Leo also managed to make the history books by becoming the first ever player to be hit with a 2:00 penalty for boarding. This was the first time since March 23, 1996 that a Chicago team was part of indoor soccer. On this date, the Chicago Power played their last ever game of indoor soccer when team took on the Kansas City Attack on the road, losing by a final score of 22-9.

Sweet Home Chicago: The Storm will return to Chicago for a second meeting with the Cleveland Force on Wednesday, November 3 at 7:00 p.m. CT at the UIC Pavilion. The two teams squared off against each other back on October 10, during an exhibition weekend at the Darien Sportsplex. This game featured seven Storm players getting in on the action by recording one goal each, which helped lead the team to an 8-6 victory over the Force.

Chicago Storm season ticket packages are priced at $190, $240, $340 and $400. Packages include an inaugural team autographed soccer ball, discounted parking, exclusive pre-season practice with the team, a mid-season autograph session with the team, ticket redemption for unused tickets, 20% discount on merchandise through the Storm, the first opportunity to purchase playoff tickets, and much more. All in the family: The Storm's 2004-2005 inaugural season will bring together two brothers who have years of experience in indoor soccer. Gaston and Leo Pernia have been reunited after they both officially signed with the Storm early last week. The two brothers will once again take the field on the same team which has not happened since 1998 when they played together on the Florida Thundercats of the National Professional Soccer League. However, with five games left in the 1998-1999 season, Leo was sent to Harrisburg while his brother remained on the Thundercats. The two brothers continued to play indoor soccer but never on the same team until this season.
