Storm Mascot Tryouts Set

The Sioux Falls Storm is pleased to announce open auditions for the next "Blizzard" will take place on Saturday, March 4. Mascot auditions for "Blizzard" will be held from 10am to 1pm at the Avera McKennan Fitness Center's Aerobics Room. The Fitness Center is located at 3400 S. Southeastern Ave. in Sioux Falls. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and able to work inside a large costume for an extended period of time. Contestants will be judged on their creativity, enthusiasm, and crowd interaction. Season tickets for the 2006 season are on sale now at the Sioux Falls Storm office. For more information please contact the Storm at 605-332-4225. Player camp will officially open up on March 10, 2006 with first game of the season seeing the Storm visiting the Beef in Omaha on Friday, March 24. The home opener for the Storm will be Saturday, April 8 for a "Championship Re-Match" as the Sioux City Bandits enter the Sioux Falls Arena. On that night, the Storm will unveil their Championship Banner and award Championship Rings to players, coaches and staff.
