Storm Look to Topple Division Leading Outlaws on Saturday

The Sioux Falls Storm will look for revenge as the Western Division leading Billings Outlaws enter "The Storm Shelter" on Saturday night. The Outlaws (4-1) handed Sioux Falls (3-2) their second loss of the season two weeks ago in Billings by a score of 38-31. Saturday is the second of three meetings between the Outlaws and the Storm with the final match-up coming on May 24 in Billings.

Outlaws quarterback Chris Dixon is second in the league in passing yards with 1,105 and leads the league in touchdown passes with 20. He has also thrown the least amount of interceptions in the league with three. The Outlaws offense scores an average of 47.6 points per game, which leads the UIF. The team's leading receiver is 2007 UIF All-Star Willie Austin. Austin has 32 receptions for 390 yards and eight touchdowns. Another big target for Dixon is Robert Reed. The 2007 UIF All-Star had nine catches for 102 yards and two touchdowns in the Storm's previous meeting with Billings. The two receivers are ranked first and second in the UIF in receptions per game.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Outlaws are led by linebacker Travis Salter. The indoor football veteran is second in the UIF in tackles with 31.5. Leading the team in sacks is Mike Bazemore who ranks third in the league with three sacks. The Outlaws defense is allowing 32.6 point per game, which ranks second in the league. However, Billings has struggled against the pass, giving up a UIF worst 182.6 passing yards per game.
