The Sioux Falls Storm (5-0) hosts the LaCrosse Spartans (3-3) in a United Conference matchup sponsored by Orthopedic Institute on Friday, April 15 at 7:05 pm. The Mario Manzini Escape Artist Show will be the halftime act and is brought to Storm fans by Miller Seller & Heroux.

The Storm is coming off a bye week and hopes to continue its undefeated season. Two weeks ago, the Storm defeated the Omaha Beef, 48-38, in a closely contested game. Statistically, quarterback Chris Dixon, who has thrown for 1011 yards and 27 passing touchdowns, with only three interceptions, leads the Storm. Dixon also leads the team in rushing with 209 yards and nine touchdowns. On the receiving end, James Terry leads the team with 33 receptions, 368 yards and 11 touchdowns. Defensively, Tyler Knight leads the team with 42 tackles, while Stewart Franks has intercepted five passes.

LaCrosse is coming off a 54-40 road loss to the Chicago Slaughter. For the Spartans, Buddy Rivera and Ryan Maiuri have split time at quarterback through six games this season. Rivera has thrown for 12 touchdowns and seven interceptions, while Maiuri has totaled four touchdowns and interceptions. LaRon Council leads the league in rushing attempts with 70, rushing for 239 yards and five touchdowns. Wide receiver Bryan Pray has caught eight touchdowns, and defensively for the Spartans, Kevis Buckley leads the team with 37 tackles.

"LaCrosse is a well coached team with some very talented vets throughout their roster," Storm owner Todd Tryon said. "We will be showcasing some of our new talent Friday night, and we will need to execute at a high level in all three phases of the game if we expect to win number six."

The game will be broadcast live on Midcontinent Sports Network, cable channel 26 locally. Tickets are available at the Arena Box Office.
