HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL - This Saturday, October 27th the Chicago Storm kicks off their fourth MISL (Major Indoor Soccer League) season as they take on the California Cougars at 7pm in the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates. This marks the second straight season that Chicago faces California in the Home Opener.
With the majority of the 2006-07 team that finished a game out of first place intact and with the new additions highlighted by two-time MISL All-Star Carlos "Chile" Farias, the Storm enters the 2007-08 season, looking to build upon the success of the past. As a perennial playoff contender, having made the postseason in each of the last two seasons, Chicago now works towards the team's ultimate goal, winning an MISL Championship!
The Chicago Storm is a member of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL). Chicago's professional indoor soccer team, plays its' home games at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates.
