
Storm acquires another goaltender

KEARNEY - The Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League announced on Thursday that head coach and general manager Bliss Littler has added goaltender Derek Brennan to the team's 2005-06 roster.
Brennan, who was in Kearney for practice this afternoon, comes to the Storm from the Buffalo Sabres of the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League. The 6-foot-3 and 190-pound Brennan joins goaltenders Aaron Rock and Nick Hopper on the Storm's roster.
Brennan played in eight games for the Sabres so far this season, compiling a 1-5-2 record while stopping 91 percent of the shots he faced.
Brennan will be in uniform this weekend when the Storm hosts Sioux City on Friday and travels to Omaha on Saturday. Brennan will wear number 33 for the Storm.
With the addition of Brennan the Storm's roster now includes 24 players. The USHL allows its teams to have 23 players.
