After a wild 13-12 win on Tuesday, the Stone Crabs take on Fort Myers again at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Jose Mujica makes the start for Charlotte against Brusdar Graterol of the Miracle.

STONE CRABS HOLD ON FOR WILD WIN

The Stone Crabs pulled out a wild 13-12 win over the Fort Myers Miracle Wednesday, holding on to first place in the FSL South and extending their lead to 1.5 game over Fort Myers. Both teams held multiple leads in the contest and both started failed to escape the third inning. Several season and franchise feats were set in last night's game:

- Franchise record for runs in a season (611, 2011)

- Highest scoring game of season (25 runs)

- Doubles in a game (Tristan Gray, 3)

- Career-high in at bats (Brendan McKay, 6)

- Most R/ER allowed by pitcher (Rosenberg, 8/8)

- Most home runs allowed (5)

"STRO"-LLING TO FIRST

Stone Crabs utility man Miles Mastrobuoni is putting together one of the most consistent, under-the-radar seasons of any Charlotte player. The Nevada product is currently leading the league in on-base percentage (.393), pacing the team in walks (45). He is two walks from placing top-10 in franchise history and is seventh in the circuit in hitting (.295). He has played seven positions and occupied eight spots in the batting order.

CLUTCH CRABS

The Stone Crabs continue to fare much better in close games lately than they did earlier in the season. The Stone Crabs entered June 9 with a 4-12 record in one-run games. Since then, they've gone 20-10 in games decided by two runs or less, walking off on their opponent six times.

DOUBLE DIPPING

The Stone Crabs have hit more doubles (248) than everyone else in the rest of the league by at least 41 (Dunedin - 207). Charlotte's 248 doubles puts them on a pace for 288, which would obliterate the franchise mark of 257 (2011). Tristan Gray is already well within the franchise's single-season leaders:
