TODAY'S GAME: Game three of a four-game series against the St. Lucie Mets (NYM) from First Data Field (1-1)...Game three of a seven-game road trip against the Mets and Lakeland Flying Tigers (1-1)...Florida is coming off a four-game series defeat to the Fort Myers Miracle at Osceola County Stadium, and 1-6 homestand against the Palm Beach Cardinals and Miracle...Fourth, and final, series (12 games) between Florida and St. Lucie in 2018, with Florida leading the series 6-4...The Fire Frogs took two of three at First Data Field from May 7-9.

TODAY'S STARTING PITCHER: 23-year-old Jeremy Walker makes his 23rd start of 2018 in game three of the four-game series against the St. Lucie Mets on Wednesday night...The 6'5" hurler did not factor into the decision of a 6-4 loss to the Fort Myers Miracle on Aug. 10...The right-hander allowed three runs (two earned) on eight hits, a walk and seven strikeouts on 96 pitches (69 strikes)...Thursday will be Walker's fourth start against the Mets this season...The Gardner-Webb product does not have a record against the New York Mets affiliate with an ERA of just 1.11 (2er/16.2ip) on 13 hits, five free passes and six punchouts...The Advance, N.C. native tossed six shutout frames against the Mets at First Data Field on May 9.

FROGS FALL SHORT OF BACK-TO-BACK WINS IN LOSS TO METS: The Florida Fire Frogs' bid for back-to-back victories fell short in a 4-1 loss to the St. Lucie Mets on Tuesday night. The Fire Frogs have not won consecutive games since taking the finale of a three-game series against the Dunedin Blue Jays at Dunedin Stadium on July 18, and followed that win with a victory over the Clearwater Threshers to open a three-game set at Spectrum Field on July 19.

Riley Delgado and CJ Anderson put together consecutive doubles to drive home Florida's only run in the first inning.

DAILY DELGADO: Riley Delgado stretched his hitting streak to six games with a 2-for-4 performance on Tuesday night...The Miami native is batting .500 (13-for-26) with four RBI since Aug. 9, raising his average from .264 to .319...Only one of the right-handed batter's hits have gone to the pull side...The 23-year-old already has 36 hits through 28 games at the High-A level, after picking up 136 knocks in 105 contests in Low-A with Rome.

JUMPING IN THE SHOW: Former Florida starter Touki Toussaint made his big league debut with the Atlanta Braves on Monday afternoon against the Miami Marlins at SunTrust Park, earning the win with one runs allowed on two hits, two walks and four strikeouts in game one of the twin bill...The Braves seventh-ranked prospect (MLB.com) became the sixth Fire Frog to make it to the show, joining LHP A.J. Minter, LHP Luiz Gohara, LHP Adam McCreery, RHP Chad Sobotka and OF Ronald Acuna...The 22-year-old holds the Fire Frogs record for most strikeouts in a season, posting 123 in 2017.

BUILDING THE PIPELINE: MLB Pipeline revealed its updated prospect rankings, and nine Atlanta Braves farmhands cracked the top-100...Of the nine, seven either currenlty played, or have previously played for the Fire Frogs: Kyle Wright (24), Ian Anderson (38), Austin Riley (43), Cristian Pache (57), Luiz Gohara (61), Touki Toussaint (76), and Drew Waters (98).
