Tulsa Talons News Release
OL/DL, Anthony Bolden had been assigned to the Tulsa Talons for the 2008 season by the af2 league office. He returns to the af2 with two years of experience, playing the 06 & 07 seasons with the Stockton Lightening. Bolden also spent some indoor football time with the Ohio Valley Greyhounds in 2005.
Bolden (6-3, 320 lbs), earned his first all-af2 honors in 2007 with the Lightning, where he played in 14 games as an Offensive and Defensive Lineman. He scored 14 points and recorded 8 catches for 37 yards. In 2006, Bolden ranked the second best in Lightning lineman with 79 receiving yards.
"We're extremely excited about having Anthony with us this season. Watching film in the off-season I felt like he was without a doubt one of the best and most consistent O-Lineman in our league. He will be a very nice addition to the Talons and we expect big things from him in '08", said Head Coach Mitch Allner. Prior to his af2 playing time, he played college ball for the University of Temple in Philadelphia, PA.
