
Stingrays Unveil Winning Logo in 25th Anniversary

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC-The South Carolina Stingrays have unveiled the winning design in the club's 25th Anniversary logo contest with Icethetics. Brooks Freeman submitted the winning design, as voted by Stingrays fans and the Icethetics community. Fans are now encouraged to visit icethetics.co/stingrays to utilize Freeman's logo for the jersey design portion of the 25th Anniversary contest.
"We are thrilled with the fans' selection," said Jeffrey Zucker, member of the Stingrays' ownership. "Brooks' logo is a tremendous representation of our brand, and we look forward to prominently displaying his logo throughout next season. We want to congratulate all of the finalists and thank all of the artists for their fantastic submissions and support of the contest."
Freeman will receive a jersey featuring his logo design, and travel and tickets to see the Stingrays play while wearing the jersey during the 2017-18 season.
"This contest is a dream come true for me as my dream has been to have a logo that I have created be used by a professional sports team," said Freeman. "I am so thankful to the staff of the Stingrays for picking my logo as a finalist and to all of the people who voted for my logo in the finals."
The Stingrays are now asking fans to use Freeman's logo to help design a special 25th Anniversary jersey to be worn during the 2017-18 season. The contest opens today at icethetics.co/stingrays with submissions allowed through Sunday, September 25. The winner of the jersey design contest will also receive travel and tickets, as well the produced jersey of their winning design.
"The Icethetics community is honored to have been chosen by the South Carolina Stingrays to design and select their 25th anniversary logo and jersey," said Chris Smith, icethetics.co editor. "I'm proud of Brooks Freeman and everyone who took the time to create the more than 80 logos that were submitted for this contest.
