
Stingrays Reduce Training Camp Roster by Four

South Carolina Stingrays News Release
NORTH CHARLESTON, SC- The South Carolina Stingrays, celebrating 23 seasons in the Lowcountry and proud affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League (NHL), reduced its Training Camp roster today by releasing forwards Louis Belisle, Ryan Kesti and Miles Koules, as well as goaltender David Jacobson.
Both Belisle and Jacobson joined the Stingrays for Training Camp on a tryout agreement. Kesti and Koules were released from their ECHL contracts.
The club's Training Camp roster currently stands at 19 players.
The Stingrays open the regular season on Saturday, October 17 versus the Reading Royals at 7:05 p.m. The club is hosting Mother Emanuel AME Church Family Night honoring the "Charleston 12" impacted in the June church shooting. Survivors of the incident will be on hand, and the Stingrays will wear special Charleston Strong jerseys that will be auctioned off with proceeds going to the children of the victims. The night also features a Magnetic Schedule Giveaway to the first 5,000 courtesy of Savage Law Firm and FREE parking, as well as an Alumni Game at 2 p.m. Tickets on sale via Ticketmaster or at the North Charleston Coliseum Box Office.
