Sting announce 2005 preseason schedule

Charlotte Sting News Release
The Charlotte Sting announced their three-game preseason schedule today, featuring two contests at the Bobcats Basketball Center in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
The Sting will tip-off their 2005 preseason schedule by traveling to Bridgeport, Connecticut on Sunday, May 8, to face the 2004 Eastern Conference Champion Connecticut Sun. The game will be played at Bridgeport's Harbor Yard Arena at 4 p.m.
In the first of two home preseason games, the Sting will host Lisa Leslie and the Los Angeles Sparks on Thursday, May 12 at 6 p.m. Charlotte will close out the preseason on Monday, May 16, against the Houston Comets. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m.
Tickets for both preseason games at the Bobcats Basketball Center go on sale Monday May 2, and will be $5 general admission. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster, by going to the team's website, www.charlottesting.com, or by calling (704) 424-WNBA.
