Salt Lake Bees News Release

SALT LAKE CITY (March 17, 2009) - The voice of the Salt Lake Bees, Steve Klauke, is scheduled to fill in on the Angels radio broadcast when the team takes on the Milwaukee Brewers in Cactus League competition on March 21 at 2:05 p.m. MDT at Tempe Diablo Stadium in Tempe, Ariz.

Alongside 11-year Angels analyst and former major league player Rex Hudler, Klauke will handle the play-by-play chores of veteran Angels radio broadcaster Terry Smith. Smith will miss the game in order to attend the wedding of Angels radio executive producer/engineer Darren Chan.

Klauke, entering his 16th season behind the microphone for the Bees, made his major league debut on air in September 2004. He worked with former Salt Lake Gulls broadcaster Jerry Howarth on a pair of regular season Toronto Blue Jays games in Anaheim. This will be the first game he has called for the Angels.

The game will air on KLAA AM 830 in Los Angeles and can also be heard live at www.angelsbaseball.com.

Salt Lake Bees season tickets are now on sale starting as low as $504. Group picnic packages are also on sale now. Bring your company or group event out to the ballpark and, for as little as $18 per person, enjoy a catered meal at a private picnic area and great seats to watch your Salt Lake Bees in action. Call (801) 325-BASE or visit slbees.com to reserve your group event today.
