Steve Cangialosi to Call San Antonio FC Matches on Fox Sports Southwest in 2016

SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio FC have announced that Steve Cangialosi will be the play-by-play commentator for all of the club's matches on FOX Sports Southwest (FSSW) this season. Cangialosi will be joined by color commentator Tom Traxler at Toyota Field for the FSSW broadcast of SAFC vs. Rio Grande Valley FC Toros (RGV FC) on May 7 at 7:30 p.m.

San Antonio FC previously announced that six regular season USL matches would be broadcast on FSSW, starting with the May 7 tilt against RGV FC and ending with a July 23 matchup against the reigning Western Conference champion LA Galaxy II. Cangialosi currently serves as the primary television play-by-play announcer of the New York Red Bulls (MLS) and the New Jersey Devils (NHL) on the MSG Network. His previous work also includes duties with ESPN Radio, ONE World Sports, Bein Sport and NY1. Cangialosi also broadcast the 2012 Olympic Games in London in 2012 and has hosted radio programs on SiriusXMFC.

Traxler is currently the radio commentator for Orlando City SC (MLS) and has previously served as an announcer in the television booth for the club, calling both MLS and USL matches for Orlando City.

Color commentators for future SAFC matches on FSSW will be announced at a later date.

San Antonio FC will host in-state rivals RGV FC Toros on Saturday, May 7 at 7:30 p.m. at Toyota Field. The match marks the first regular season meeting between the two clubs, who are both in their inaugural seasons.
