Steelheads first round opponent set

BOISE, Idaho - The third-seeded Idaho Steelheads will face the second-seeded Las Vegas Wranglers in the first round of the 2005-06 Kelly Cup Playoffs. Alaska clinched the title spot in the West Division last night with a 6-3 win in Fresno.

The dates of the playoffs are as follows:

The Steelheads open with Games 1 and 2 on April 11th and 12th in Las Vegas. Games 3 and 4 of the best-of-seven series will be played at Qwest Arena on Friday, April 14th and Saturday, April 15th. If necessary, Game 5 will be at Qwest Arena on April 17th, and Games 6 and 7 will go back to Las Vegas on April 18th and 19th.

Tickets for Friday's and Saturday's home games are now on sale at the Qwest Arena Box Office and Select-A-Seat outlets, by calling 331-TIXS (8497). Prices range from $12.50 - $33.50. Fans are encouraged to wear white to create a "white out!"
