
Steelers and Thunder Turn Focus to Basketball

BOARDMAN, Ohio. - The Mahoning Valley Thunder are pleased to announce their participation in an evening filled with basketball and friendly competition, as they, along with the Pittsburgh Steelers will play basketball at Lowellville High School on March 14, 2007.
The Pittsburgh Steelers Footballers Basketball team will tip-off at 8:00 p.m. versus LCAA Sports, and the Thunder front office will take on the Lowellville Firefighters in a pregame show slated for 6:30 p.m.
Tickets for the event are just $10.00 and are going fast. To purchase tickets, fans are encouraged to visit The Balloon Doctors in Struthers, or in Lowellville at Geno's Restaurant, Ross' Market, Mel's Tavern, and Mount Carmel Club. Tickets are also on sale between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on any Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday at the South Side Fire Station located behind the Mount Carmel Society.
