GENEVA, ILLINOIS - The Chicago Steel hockey team and Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy are pleased to announce that they have joined forces in the mission of providing high-quality sports medicine to their athletes. Ivy Rehab will be the official physical therapy provider of the Chicago Steel for the 2019-2020 season.
Ivy Rehab's conveniently located facilities in the western Chicago suburbs feature state-of-the-art equipment and highly trained physical therapists who will provide care to the Steel players, athletes, and fans, alike. Treatments available at these facilities include soft-tissue injuries, sports medicine, spine specialties, post-operative care, concussions treatment, and vestibular issues. As a part of this partnership, Ivy Rehab's team of expertly-trained physical therapists will also be on-site to participate in the Steel player's workouts and pre-game needs.
"We're excited to partner with Ivy Rehab to provide physical therapy and rehabilitation services for our elite athletes," said Chicago Steel President Dan Lehv. "Beyond the expertise and care they will provide to help our players recover from injury and perform at the highest level, Ivy Rehab's strong presence in the Fox Valley with multiple clinics makes for a natural partnership."
"I am thrilled to announce our partnership with the Chicago Steel in 2019 and 2020! The Steel is a great organization and they have emerged as a leader in the USHL," said Matt Lesniak, Regional Director for Ivy Rehab. "Our Ivy Rehab clinics in and around the Fox Valley area are perfectly situated to provide world-class care for the teams' athletes and fans. My colleagues and I are looking forward to growing and collaborating with team personnel to contribute our services for the health and well-being of the players."
