Steel Announce 2020 Preseason Schedule

GENEVA, ILLINOIS - The Chicago Steel today released their 2020 preseason schedule, a four-game schedule ranging from Saturday, October 24 through Saturday, October 31.

Chicago Steel 2020 Preseason Schedule:

Saturday, October 24 (3:00 pm CT) - vs. Team USA U17 (game played in Green Bay, WI)

Sunday, October 25 (3:00 pm CT) - at Green Bay Gamblers

Friday, October 30 (6:00 pm CT) - at Muskegon Lumberjacks

Saturday, October 31 (7:05 pm CT) - vs. Muskegon Lumberjacks

The Steel kick off the 2020 preseason with a back-to-back set of games in Green Bay, Wis., against Team USA U17 on Saturday, Oct. 24 and the Green Bay Gamblers on Sunday, Oct. 25.

Following a road contest against the Muskegon Lumberjacks on Friday, Oct. 30, the Steel will play on home ice for the first time on Saturday, Oct. 31 against Muskegon.

Ticketing information is not available at this time as the Steel await further guidance from the State of Illinois related to spectators for the 2020-2021 season.

The Steel are coming off the most successful NHL Draft in team history with three NHL draft picks included on the roster to start the preseason. Defenseman Ian Moore was selected by the Anaheim Ducks in the 3rd Round (67th Overall), forward Sean Farrell was chose by the Montreal Canadiens in the 4th Round (124th Overall) and forward Joe Miller was selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 6th Round (180th Overall).
