DAVENPORT, Iowa â The Quad City Steamwheelers have announced its practice schedule for Sunday, March 27.
The Steamwheelers, who are preparing for the Happy Joe's Pizza Bowl preseason game with the Green Bay Blizzard on Monday, March 28, will have a two-a-day practice session on Sunday with the Blizzard at The MARK of the Quad Cities. Practice times are as follows: 11 a.m. â 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. â 7p.m.

The Steamwheelers are preparing for their sixth season of play as a charter member of the af2, under new coach Rick Frazier, a veteran head coach in the Arena Football League. The 2005 af2 season is set to kickoff the first weekend of April, with the Steamwheelers opening their season on the road the following weekend at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Their first home game of the 2005 season will come on Saturday, April 16, at 7:30 p.m., when they host the Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings.
