
Steamwheelers Jersey Auction Raises $5,175 for the Trinity Health Foundation

(Davenport, IA) - The Quad City Steamwheelers partnered with the Trinity Health Foundation to raise $5,175 through a post-game jersey auction after the conclusion of last Saturday's contest against the Tennessee Valley Vipers. The jerseys that were auctioned off were special jerseys designed with an independence theme.
"The generosity of the Steamwheelers organization and its fans exceeded my expectations at Saturday's jersey auction," said Berlinda Tyler-Jamison, President of the Trinity Health Foundation. "More than $5,000 was raised. Thank you for all your kindness and for helping Trinity Health Foundation help others."
Five jerseys went for a total of $300 or more with FB/LB Kika Kaulalaau and OL/DL Shonn Bell leading the pack raising $575 and $500 respectively for their jerseys. WR/DB Tim Dodge saw his jersey go for $425, the third highest amount raised on the evening.
"We were very excited with the outcome of the auction," said Majority Partner/Operator of the Quad City Steamwheelers, Larry Bush. "We are proud to be able to give back to the Quad City community and the Trinity Health Foundation plays an important role in this community. We expect that our helmet auction that we are holding to also help benefit the Trinity Health Foundation will do just as well."
