Vogel has three seasons of indoor football experience in another league where he racked up multiple awards including: 2006 and 2007 AIFA Northern Division All-Star and 2006 AIFA Northern Division Lineman of the Year. In both 2006 and 2007 the 6-foot-4, 260 pounder lead the league in sacks with 16 and 18.5 respectively. Davis returns to the squad after joining the Steamwheelers midway through the season last year. He started the final nine games finishing fourth on the team in total tackles with 35. Before joining the Steamwheelers, he played college football at South Dakota and was named to the 1st Team All-North Central his senior season. "I can't wait to get training camp started," said Biladeau. "Our coaches, players and staff are all excited about this season and wish we could get started today. Right now though I am still looking at a couple of players and saving a couple spots until after our Open Tryout on Saturday, February 16. We will take a look at our roster again after the tryout and go from there."
The recent additions bring the Steamwheelers roster to 30 players. The team can bring 35 players into training camp.
