Steamers host San Diego February 7 at 1:05 p.m.

(St. Louis, Feb. 6, 2004) -- The San Diego Sockers make their first visit of the season Feb. 7 in a 1:05 p.m. MISL matchup with the Steamers at The Family Arena.
San Diego (10-11) has lost three road games in a row and trails Dallas by three games in the MISL Western Division. The Sockers are led by 44-year-old goalkeeper Victor Nogueira, a perennial League all-star, standout defender Sean Bowers, and midfielder Paul Wright. All three were recently named to participate in the MISL All-Star Game, which will be held Feb. 29 at 1:05 p.m. at The Family Arena.
Including the San Diego game, the Steamers (6-14) have four of their next six games at The Family Arena leading up to the Feb. 27-29 All-Star Weekend. On Thursday, Feb. 12, the Steamers host the Monterrey Fury in a 10:35 a.m. "School-Day Game." All seats for the Feb. 12 game are priced at $5. Participating schools also receive a $50 "travel allowance/rebate" for every 40 tickets purchased.
As an added bonus at the Feb. 7 game, Steamers legends Slobo Ilijevski and Steve Pecher will be signing autographs at halftime. Ilijevski and Pecher will be positioned at The Family Arena autograph booth outside of Section 103.
