Vote for the 2004 MISL All-Star Starters Online at www.misl.net

(Westport, Conn., February 6, 2004) – The Major Indoor Soccer League has announced that online balloting for the 2004 All-Star starting lineups has begun on www.misl.net.

For the first time, MISL fans will be involved in the All-Star process. By visiting www.misl.net and clicking on the All-Star Game voting icon, fans can choose the six starters for both the MISL USA and MISL International teams, which were announced on February 4.

The voting page can also be accessed via each of the MISL teams' sites, and will allow fans to view updated player profile and statistics to aid in their selection. Fans will be allowed to vote once per day (24-hour period), with online balloting concluding at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on Sunday, February 22.

The All-Star starting lineups will be announced on Thursday, February 26, at the MISL All-Star Welcome Reception, to be held at the Ameristar Casino in St. Charles, MO, from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. Central.

Beginning Friday, February 27, the 2004 MISL All-Star Weekend will encompass three days of festivities designed to celebrate the past, present, and future of indoor soccer. Included in the celebration will be MasterCard All-Star Community Day, the MISL All-Star Family Festival, presented by Suburban Journals and WB-11, and The Commissioner's Celebration of Excellence.

The All-Star Weekend will culminate on Sunday, February 29, with the League's showcase event, the 2004 All-Star Game, at 1:05 p.m. CST. Following the All-Star Game, a team of MISL Legends will face a squad of St. Louis Steamers Legends in the 2004 MISL Legends Game, presented by The BIG 550 KTRS.
