Edenton Steamers News Release
EDENTON, N.C - The Edenton Steamers (20-7, 0-1) and the HPThomasville Hi-Toms (14-15, 1-0) game at Historic Hicks Field on Tuesday night has been cancelled due to inclement weather in the area.
The contest will not be made up due to the fact that it was the only time during the 2013 season that the two teams, Edenton and HPThomasville were due to meet.
The Steamers are back in action on Wednesday, July 3rd against the Petersburg Generals in Petersburg, V.A, to continue the Coastal Plain League's second half. Edenton will be back in Edenton after the holiday and the All-Star break on Wednesday, July 10th against the Florence RedWolves.
