Jordan Winawer knocked another single and a misplayed ball by left fielder Bobby Schuman allowed Perkins to score and moved Winawer to second. In the next at bat, Derek Perry connected for the fourth consecutive Copperhead single to score Winawer and give Asheboro a 4-1 lead.
