Stealth set tempo with "Festival of Speed"

(San Jose, CA, March 22, 2007) --- On Sunday, March 25 HP Pavilion parking lot will be transformed into a professional racing track for Go Kart, Pocket Bike, and Scooter racing at the San Jose Stealth's Inaugural Festival of Speed from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The Festival of Speed will feature a Custom Car Show, the World's Fastest Motorcycle, and Motorcycle Stunt Riders at 10 a.m., followed by Go Kart, Pocket Bike and Scooter racing starting at 1 p.m. Auto enthusiasts can feast their eyes on Vipers, Porsches, Lotus', BMWs and other performance, race and show cars from the Sports Car Club of America, Checkered Flag Racing Association and the U.S. Touring Car Championship at the Custom Car Show and at 1:45 p.m. fans and members of the media will have the opportunity to race the San Jose Stealth's dance team, the Spy Girls, in the Celebrity Go Kart Challenge.

Go Kart, Pocket Bike and Scooter racers with a need for speed can register for the Festival of Speed by emailing Urban Grand Prix at pocketbikegp@gmail.com and receive a ticket to the Stealth game and a Stealth T-shirt when they sign up.

After the Festival, the San Jose Stealth will unleash their high powered offense against the Edmonton Rush as they battle for the fourth and final playoff spot in the Western Division. The Stealth vs. Rush game will start at 5 p.m. at HP Pavilion and fans will receive a free Stealth T-shirt when they purchase a $15 corner-end premium ticket. Winners of the Festival of Speed races will receive special recognition at the Stealth game during the halftime ceremony.
