
Stealth ready for Talons

Wichita, Kan. - The Wichita Stealth (7-3) are set to take on the Tulsa Talons (7-3) tomorrow night at the Kansas Coliseum in a battle for the Southwest Division lead. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. and tickets are available by calling the Stealth office at 316.755.3307.
This week's match-up features the 2nd ranked scoring offense of Tulsa and the 6th ranked scoring defense of Wichita. The Talons are scoring 57 points per game, while the Stealth are only giving up 39.9 points per game. Last week, the Stealth faced the #1 ranked scoring offense of Oklahoma City and held them to only 35points.
Stealth quarterback Jonathan Beasley is coming off of another superb start and looks to continue his hot streak tomorrow night. In his first three starts, Beasley has gone 43-of-75 for 655 yards and 19 touchdowns. The recipient of most of those touchdown passes has been offensive specialist Damon Thompson. Thompson has caught 12 of his 19 touchdowns in the last three games and has piled up 336 yards in those games. He is averaging 112 yards per game when Beasley is the starting quarterback.
The Stealth are 5-0 at home this season and are looking to extend their one game win streak. Tulsa leads the all-time series between these two teams 6-1 and has won the only previous meeting between these two teams on June 5th in Tulsa by a score of 62-49. The Stealth will travel to Tulsa again on July 10th to conclude their regular season match-up with the Talons.
