Stars Walkoff In Series Finale With Biscuits

Erasing an early 5-0 deficit, the Huntsville Stars scored the final six runs and beat the Montgomery Biscuits in 10 innings by a score of 6-5 on Saturday night at Joe Davis Stadium. Outfielder Kentrail Davis was the hero on the night, delivering the walkoff single off Biscuits LHP Neil Schenk to score third baseman Andy Gonzalez to win the game. On offense, the Stars were led by right fielder Brock Kjeldgaard who went 4-for-5 with 3 RBI, including a two-run single in the eighth inning that tied up the game at 5-5. The victory for the Stars was their second in as many nights when trailing after the seventh inning.

After completing their series with the Biscuits, the Stars will hit the road to start a five-game series at Trustmark Park against the Mississippi Braves on Sunday. First pitch is at 5:00 PM.
