Montgomery Biscuits News Release

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Biscuits (67-56/31-24) saw a 5-0 lead disappear, and Kentrail Davis' RBI-single in the 10th completed the Huntsville Stars (61-64/26-29) 6-5 comeback win Saturday at Joe Davis Stadium.

Neil Schenk (3-1) walked Andy Gonzalez to begin the tenth, and allowed a one-out single to Brock Kjeldgaard that put runners at the corners for Davis. With the infield pulled in, Davis punched a line drive to left to score Gonzalez for the winning run.

The Biscuits plated three in the second and two in the third with Mark Thomas delivering a pair of RBI hits, but were shutout from there, stranding 11 men on-base for the second night in-a-row. Huntsvillie scratched across single runs in the fourth, sixth, and seventh, before tying the game on a two-out, two-run single from Kjeldgaard against Kirby Yates in the eighth.

Jake Thompson held the Stars to two runs on four hits over six innings in the no-decision. R.J. Seidel (2-2) pitched two scoreless innings to get the win for the Stars.

There were four errors (three on Huntsville) and 17 walks (11 issued by Huntsville) in the game.

Thomas led the Biscuits with a 3-5 night. Ryan Garko went 0-5 in his first game back from the DL.

The Biscuits begin a five-game series with the Blue Wahoos Sunday at 4:00 CT as RHP Merrill Kelly opposes RHP Wirfin Obispo.
