
Stars to play for troops at Camp Pendleton

Los Angeles, CA. The Los Angeles Stars will be playing the Orange County Buzz on Friday, February 25th at Camp Pendleton. Owner Lowell Moore stated, "As a gesture of support for our troops overseas, the LA Stars are pleased to join with Burrel Lee's OC Buzz to play one of its final games at Camp Pendleton. This game should be a great morale booster for the troops getting ready to ship out to the conflict overseas. The game is possible because of the unwavering commitment these ABA teams have to the community and we are proud to be a part of this exciting event."
After winning 7 of their last 8 games, the Stars are in great shape for the playoffs and are poised to challenge for the ABA title. Playoffs will begin March 5th.
