
Stars Return Chris Conner to Peoria

Peoria, Ill. (December 18, 2008) - The Dallas Stars announced today that the club has reassigned left wing Chris Conner to the Peoria Rivermen in the American Hockey League.
Conner, 25, has collected five assists and two penalty minutes in 12 games with Dallas this season. Prior to his call-up from Peoria on Nov. 23, he had posted 10 goals and six assists for 16 points in 17 games for the Rivermen.
Despite missing the team's last 10 games, Conner's 10 goals are tied for the team lead with Julian Talbot. He is expected to join the team in time for Friday's game against Iowa.
