Win up to $10,000 at the Pirates Game Saturday

Portland, Maine - Just in time for the holidays, the Portland Pirates are giving away up to $10,000 in cold hard cash this Saturday, December 20! During the first intermission of the 7:00 p.m. game against the Providence Bruins, the Pirates will drop 10,000 one dollar bills from the rafters of the Civic Center onto center ice.

For their chance to win, fans must fill out an entry form at the customer service table in the lobby of the Civic Center prior to the start of the game. Fans must be 18 years of age or older to be eligible. Six names will be drawn during the first period and those lucky fans will be taken to ice level for the first intermission contest. The contestants will try to pick up as much money as they can during one minute and the person who gathers the most cash will keep his or her winnings. The five runners-up will receive consolation prizes from the Pirates.
