WHAT: Whataburger What'cha Reading Grand Prize Reading Event

WHEN: 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 22

WHO: Helen Darling and Presa Reading Club (34-40 children, ages 5-13)

WHERE: Presa Community Center

San Antonio, TX 78210

BACKGROUND: Silver Stars guard Helen Darling, mother of 7-year-old triplets and author of seven children's books, will read Wild About Books by Judy Sierra and discuss the importance of reading with children from the Presa Reading Club. Darling will play reading bingo with the students where the bingo card spaces are made up of popular books. She also will sign autographs and take photos.

The Presa Reading Club is being recognized as the Whataburger What'cha Reading Grand Prize winner after their entry was selected from all the entries received from area library branches and community centers.
