San Antonio Stars News Release

SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio Silver Stars center Ruth Riley will miss Thursday's game against Indiana with Achilles tendonitis in her left leg. She will be re-evaluated following the weekend all-star break.

A ninth-year veteran, the 6'5" Riley left San Antonio's July 17 game against Connecticut with the nagging injury and missed the July 19 game at Chicago. She is averaging 8.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game as a starter for San Antonio, all above her career averages of 7.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game. An Olympic gold medalist, Riley won two WNBA Championships with the Detroit Shock and one NCAA Championship at Notre Dame.

Silver Stars single-game tickets start at $10. For more information on single-game tickets or for special group offers, visit www.sasilverstars.com or call 210.444.5090.
