
Stars Face FC Tampa Bay in Opening Round Saturday

The NSC Minnesota Stars fought off the Carolina RailHawks with a 2-1 win last Saturday in Cary, N.C. Brian Cvilikas scored the game winner after team captain Kyle Altman opened the scoring. Match highlights are available on YouTube

The Stars now face a one-game playoff with FC Tampa Bay for a spot in the league semifinals. The Stars face FCTB this Saturday night at 6:30 p.m. CDT at Al Lang Stadium in St. Petersburg, Fla. The game will be streamed live on NSCMinnesota.com and NASL.com, or you can join us and the Dark Clouds supporters' group at the Sweetwater Grille & Bar in St. Paul for a watch party.
If the Stars beat FCTB, they'll advance to the two-legged semifinals and face the Carolina RailHawks. The first leg of that series would be played Saturday, Oct. 8, at NSC Stadium. 2011 season ticket pricing ends this Friday
This is the last week to order 2012 season tickets at 2011 pricing. Until Friday at 5 p.m., new and renewing season ticket holders can save by booking their seats early for next year. All 2012 season ticket packages include 14 tickets for the Stars' regular season schedule. Tickets in the general admission, reserved and supporter sections are all "flex" tickets, meaning you can use them in any combination throughout the season.
