Silverbacks Loan Schnorf to Swiss Club

ATLANTA (September 28, 2011) - The Atlanta Silverbacks have loaned defender Mattias Schnorf to Sportclub Young Fellows Juventus, a club in Switzerland's third division, pending USSF approval.

Schnorf, who played in Switzerland's second division before coming to Atlanta, remains under contract with the Silverbacks. He will join YF Juventus on loan until November 20.

Schnorf had a successful campaign with the Silverbacks this season, and last month, he was called to Los Angeles for a trial with MLS club Chivas USA. On September 15, the 27-year-old returned to his native Switzerland for personal reasons.
