
Stanley Cup Coming to Quad Cities December 26

MOLINE, Ill. - The Stanley Cup is coming to the Quad Cities on Saturday, December 26 for a tour of the area culminating in the Quad City Mallards' game against the Indy Fuel, the Mallards announced today.
The cup will make a series of stops throughout the Quad Cities. Hockey's ultimate prize will appear at R.I.A. Federal Credit Union and Harris Pizza in Bettendorf before arriving at the iWireless Center for the Mallards' game and will finish the evening at Bad Boyz' Pizza & Pub in Moline.
The cup will make its first appearance at R.I.A.'s 4343 Utica Ridge Road location between 12:00 and 1:00 p.m. R.I.A. will offer a limited quantity of Stanley Cup Fast Passes which will provide priority access for viewing and photos with the cup. Fast Passes are available at www.riafcu.com for $50 with all proceeds benefiting the River Bend Foodbank. Non-Fast Pass users will have the chance to take photos with the cup at R.I.A. on a first come, first served basis. To maximize the number of fans who have access to the cup, photos will be limited to one per group (photographer not provided). Access to the cup is available until R.I.A.'s 1:00 p.m. close of business and is not guaranteed.
From R.I.A., the cup will move on to Harris Pizza at 2520 18th Street in Bettendorf from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. To celebrate the cup's arrival Harris Pizza will offer the Champions Package: fans who purchase any 12" or 16" pizza will get a photo opportunity with the cup (photographer not provided) and two vouchers each good for $4 off tickets for the December 26 game normally priced at $16.
After Harris Pizza, the next stop for the cup will be the iWireless Center for the Mallards' 7:05 p.m. match-up with the Fuel. Mallards corporate partners will have the exclusive opportunity to visit with the cup in the Drake Club from 5:00 to 5:45 p.m. Parties interested in becoming a Mallards corporate partner can contact the team's sponsorship department at 309-277-1343. Fans will have their chance get up close and take photos with the cup on the main concourse beginning when iWireless Center doors open at 5:45 p.m. Photos with the cup will be available throughout the game.
After the Mallards' clash with the Fuel, the cup will head across River Drive for its final stop at Bad Boyz' Pizza & Pub in Moline. Bad Boyz' is located at 313 16th Street in Moline.
The Stanley Cup is the oldest trophy competed for by professional athletes in North America. First awarded in 1893, the cup has been competed for exclusively by National Hockey League clubs since 1926. The Chicago Blackhawks are the reigning Stanley Cup champions.
Single game tickets for all Mallards regular season home games- including December 26 game- are on sale now at the iWireless Center box office, Ticketmaster outlets, ticketmaster.com and Ticketmaster charge-by-phone toll free at 1-800-745-3000. The box office is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tickets are available for $10, $16, $20 and $28.
